Library - Homebound Service

Homebound Library Service is available to Glendale residents with a current Glendale Library Card or to non-residents who have purchased a non-resident Glendale Library Card. To qualify for the service, cardholders must fall into one of three eligibility categories:

  • Senior Citizens experiencing some degree of physical limitation
  • Visually or physically handicapped individuals
  • Homebound individuals

An application can be obtained at the Main Library or by calling Georgia at 623-930-3530.

Once accepted into the Homebound Library Service, patrons can request books of a specific genre, on a general subject or by title. Only print materials can be requested or sent with a limit of 5 at one time. A library card issued as part of the Homebound Library Service can only be used through the Homebound Program.
