Designs for Heroes Branch Library Underway
Following the recent completion of the Western Area Branch Library Site Feasibility Study earlier this spring, the City of Glendale is moving forward with project development. On December 20, Glendale City Council approved the authorization to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Dick & Fritsche Design Group to provide architectural and design services for the proposed Heroes Park Branch Library. The new 8015-sq.-ft. Heroes Branch Library, situated on approximately two acres within the Heroes Regional Park site (83rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road), will expand Glendale Public Library services to areas of western Glendale.
