Main Library
The Main Library at 5959 W. Brown Street in Glendale, AZ provides ongoing regular book sales during library hours. Items for sale include library discards and donated books. There are books for all readers, CDs, videos and recent magazines. Only items in great condition are offered for sale, and prices are very reasonable. Bring us your used books, magazines, videos, tapes, CDs, books on tape, and DVDs. Your donations help us grow! When a donation is not added to the library’s collection, it may be sent to the used book sale area.
During the Spring of each year the Main Library holds a Mega Book sale event. Thousands of donated items, covering a very wide category of subjects are offered for sale as well as a number of signed or collectible titles. Foothills Library
Foothills Branch Library celebrates fall on October 27th with a fabulous book sale. The library, located in Glendale at 19055 N. 57th Ave., will be jam packed with bargains and treasures ranging from Aristotle to Dr. Seuss. Books, videos, encyclopedia, CDs, books-on-tape and more will be available from 9 am to 3 pm. The final hour is a $1.00/bag door buster. There will be something for everyone. Shop early or late, you never know what you will find!
The Foothills Branch Library volunteers continually re-stock our running book sale with best sellers, old favorites and timely non-fiction items. Books are priced as marked with an average price of $1.00 to $2.00. There is always something special on sale, so stop by often and browse for exceptional finds.
Velma Teague Library
Velma Teague Library's book sale offers fiction and non-fiction materials in print as well as other formats. Book sale items are displayed in the back lobby of the library and on carts outside the main entrance. Donations are gladly accepted and Circulation staff can let patrons know what kinds of materials are suited for our book sale.
