Browder flew high in the sky as part of a top-notch, three-person team of photographers for Sky 12, the news helicopter for Channel 12 (KPNX) in Phoenix, before joining Glendale 11 in 2005. Browder grew up in Glendale and has been in the broadcast industry for 14 years. He has a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism. He got his start at Channel 12 (KPNX) as a news tape editor while attending ASU. He spent two years in Knoxville, Tenn. as a photojournalist. Browder returned to Channel 12 as a photojournalist/producer and then moved into management as the Assistant Chief Photojournalist/Producer. He has won three Emmys and three Best of Gannett Awards for photojournalism.
