Glendale Firefighter Retires After 31 Years Of Service
Firefighter Clint Summers called it a career with the Glendale Fire Department after serving 31 years in public service. The retirement celebration took place on March 31, 2008.
Glendale Fire Chief, Mark Burdick, along with many past and present Glendale Firefighters, family and friends, honored Firefighter Summers at Fire Station 156 in North Glendale. Firefighter Summers took the opportunity to thank his family and friends as he and many of his guest reminisced about several calls and experiences that took place over the course of three decades.
Though many of the stories shared by Summers’ current and past crew members were different, they all underscored his professionalism, his knowledge as a firefighter, his sense of humor and great attitude.
The Glendale Fire Department congratulates you, Firefighter Summers, on your retirement, and thanks you for your professionalism, leadership, and most of all, your friendship.
