The Equipment Management Division is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the City’s fleet of over 1,400 vehicles.

What We Do

The Equipment Management Division provides fleet and equipment services out of a 70,000 square foot state of the art facility that was constructed in 2004. The new facility has 45 work bays and 16 vehicle/truck lifts. The new facility and installed equipment has made it possible for our technicians to perform repairs in less time, with greater accuracy, and reduces fleet costs for departments

• City Fleet drove 8,601,740 miles in FY 08/09
• City Fleet used 1,287,775 gallons of Fuel in FY 08/09
• 40% of the Fleet is dedicated for use by the Police and Fire Departments
• 41% of the fleet is assigned to the Public Works: Streets, Traffic, Transit, Sanitation, Utilities, etc.
