HOME OWNERS - STARTING WATER SERVICE
The Utility Department provides water, sewer and sanitation services to the residents and businesses of the City of Glendale and surrounding areas. Whether you need to establish new service, terminate existing service, change the name or need information under which your service is listed, you will need to contact Customer Relations to make the change. In just a few minutes we will be able to process your request. To start a new service, you must call, fax web form, or apply in person at Customer Relations.
As a home owner you will need proof of ownership, the name and phone number of the title company, the escrow number and closing date or the docket number of the recorded deed of sale and recording date. Sales contracts will not be sufficient as proof of the recording.
Department personnel must have access to your utility meters at all times to change service or take readings.
