Join 7th and 8th graders from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Glendale as they learned from a variety of professionals with diverse backgrounds involved in the legal system, including a city prosecutor, a police sergeant, public defender and judge, who will discuss their roles and answer questions. About the Court
The City Court tries criminal and civil traffic violations, as well as non-traffic criminal misdemeanor cases. Some of the cases the court handles include

Defensive Driving School
This is a 4 1/2-hour diversion class that results in a dismissal of a violation. The class may only be completed once every 24 months for eligible violations. You may attend DDS for only one violation, even if multiple eligible violations are listed on the citation. You must pay a fine, appear in court, or request a hearing for the other violations.
