Voluntary Demolition Program

The Glendale Voluntary Demolition Program clears deteriorated residential structures that have a blighting influence on neighborhoods. Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds are used for properties within the designated redevelopment area.

To qualify:

• The property must be vacant for a period of time.
• Taxes must be current.
• Requests to demolish commercial structures are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
