Tierra Buena Park Association Dedicates Improvements Funded by Neighborhood Grant Program

Neighbors living near the Tierra Buena Park, 57th Avenue and Tierra Buena Lane, have a newly renovated park, as the result of two neighborhood grants with a combined total of $104, 114.

The Citizen’s Advisory Commission on Neighborhoods awarded the funds to the neighborhood. The first grant provided upgrades to the park, including a shade structure, two picnic tables and playground equipment. The second grant paid for a rubberized surface on the playground, which will enhance safety and greater access for those who are disabled.

The neighbors will be recognized for their efforts to improve their neighborhood during a dedication on Saturday, May 31 at 10:30 a.m. at the park.

Tierra Buena Park is a registered neighborhood, located between Carol Ann Way and Beck Lane, 57th and 58th avenues. It lists 34 households in the neighborhood, which was constructed in 1974.
