Roadrunner Estates West Neighbors Dedicate Streetscape Improvements Funded by Neighborhood Grant

Neighbors living in the Roadrunner Estates West neighborhood, have new streetscape improvements, along the south side of Moutain View Road from 57th to 59th avenues, as the result of a neighborhood grant that funded the upgrades costing $57,751. The Citizen’s Advisory Commission on Neighborhoods awarded the funds to the neighbors.

Council member Yvonne Knaack, Barrel District, presented neighborhood leaders with a plaque to thank them for participating in the process to improve their neighborhood at a brief dedication ceremony today.

The Roadrunner Estates West Neighborhood lists 35 households in the property that is more than 30 years old. The boundaries are between Mountain View Road on the north, Purdue on the south between 57th Avenue and 58th Drive.

The Neighborhood Partnership Office administers a grant program that funds revitalization projects twice a year to assist neighborhoods more than 15 years old. Citizen participation and involvement are key components of the program.
