Payment and Deposits
The Glendale Civic Center requires a non-refundable deposit equal to 50 percent of the total rental and equipment fees, due with the signed contract. Balance of all charges is due 30 days prior to the event. The Glendale Civic Center requires that all deposits and final payments be made in the form of check, credit card, money order or cashier’s check. We request that cash payments be made in the exact amount due. Should a client cancel an event once the contract has been signed and deposit has been paid, no refund of the deposit shall be made.
Room Assignment, Set Up and Decorating
Rooms are assigned according to the anticipated number of guests. The Glendale Civic Center reserves the right to assign and re-assign event space. Decorating times will be set one month prior to the event based on our event schedule.
Security*
The Civic Center may require, at the client’s expense, such security personnel for alcohol events or as may be determined necessary by the Civic Center or other city officials. The Glendale Civic Center requires the use of City of Glendale “off duty” police officers for certain events or CBI Security Officers as approved security options. *Client assumes full responsibility for damages to Glendale Civic Center or the loss of any personal property left in the center prior to, during and following the event.
