Role:

Advises the City Council and the City Manager on the merit system and personnel policies and administration. The board also hears appeals regarding discipline.

Membership:

Five members appointed by the City Council for two-year terms.

Meets:

6 p.m., third Wednesday and Thursday of each month. Hearings average four to six hours; packet review, four to eight hours.
