47th Avenue and Olive. The below outlines a recent ADA improvement completed on the N/W corner of a Circle K parking lot area near 47th and Olive avenues. The improvement was done on the crosswalk pole, and now pedestrians with wheelchairs or mobile chairs are able to ride up to the light post to physically press the crosswalk button. Before, a piece of concrete was missing and the rocks were making it impossible for disabled Glendale residents to access the crosswalk button.

59th Avenue and Evergreen: The Streets Department pin-striped the crosswalk at the intersection of 59th Avenue and Evergreen recently to make it more pedestrian friendly for those who are disabled. The improvements dramatically increased visibility of the intersection so now those who cross the street are safer and have a greater peace of mind.
