Sew for nursing homes, care centers, hospitals, children’s centers, etc. If you like to sew, join this friendly group. If you know of a day care center, nursing home, hospital or child care institution in need of wheelchair bags, bibs, lap quilts, booties, etc., please call.

Lapidary Workshop
8 a.m. - Noon, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays,
and 4 - 7 p.m., Thursdays
Room 110, $4 per day.
Learn to cut and polish stones for jewelry. Previous experience welcome. Shop is monitored by the Lapidary Club.
- Knitting - Needlework Club
1 - 3 p.m., Wednesdays, Room 103
Attention knitters! Join us for an informal afternoon of knitting. Bring your own needles and supplies; standard yarn provided. Must know how to knit.
- Fix-It Club
8 a.m. - Noon, Fridays, Room 110
Members will repair small appliances with no charge for labor. You pay for parts. Don’t live with frayed cords or bad plugs––bring them in and this friendly group will make them good as new. Call for information. Donations happily accepted. Cannot repair TVs, VCRs or computers.
- Faceting
1 - 4 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays
$25 for class or $3 per hour lab time
Learn the basics of precision cutting/grinding of gems and precious stones. See Peter or Thomas in the Lapidary room.
Open Lab: $4 per session available from 1-5 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
