Glendale, AZ – 2013-14 Budget Website

Welcome to the city of Glendale’s 2013-14 budget website. This site’s purpose is to inform citizens about budget adjustment proposals being considered for the 2013-14 fiscal year operating budget.

The City Council will begin annual budget workshop meetings in February, and the final budget is expected to be adopted by the council in March (see schedule below).

Proposed schedule for adoption of the FY 2014 budget and property tax levy, per requirements in state statutes, is as follows:

	March 27 - Budget workshop
	March 28 - Budget workshop - The City Council Budget Workshop scheduled for March 28, 2013 is vacated.
	April 1 - Desert Mirage Elementary School,  8605 W. Maryland Avenue, from 6-7 p.m. or until all comments are heard.
	April 4 - Foothills Recreation and Aquatic Center, Bob Cat room, 5600 Union Hills Drive, from 6-7 p.m. or until all comments are heard.
	April 9 - Budget workshop - The budget workshop has been cancelled
	April 16 - Budget workshop
	May 28 - Prelim budget adopted. Give notice of public hearing on the budget and separate public hearing on property tax levy, both for June 11.
	June 11 - Final budget adopted after public hearing.  Separate public hearing on property tax levy.
	June 25 - Property tax levy adopted.  Must be done at least 14 days after adoption of final budget
